It starts with a jungle boat tour that explores the placid waters of Tárcoles River.Here you can see crocodiles and exotic tropical birds. Then arriev at one of Costa Rica's protected areas Punta Leona Beach Resort.

Leaving San Jose, we will head towards the Pacific coast along the old Spanish route that has been in use since 1606. Along the way, we'll stop briefly to enjoy a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast.

Once we reach our destination, we'll take a jungle boat tour that goes along Tarcoles River. Our guides will introduce you to the world of crocodiles and exotic birds.

After the boat tour, we'll arrive at one of the most beautiful protected areas around, Punta Leona Beach Resort. This exotic paradise is surrounded by 750 acres of lush tropical rainforest, pristine white-sand beaches and the blue waters of the Pacific.

You w'll have the day at leisure with plenty of time to enjoy the activities offered by the resort, inlcuding water sports, swimming in the crystal-clear water of the ocean of simply relaxing by the pool. You can have lunch at the resort.

If interested, guests can take an optional guided tour through the transitional rainforest. The tour takes approximately 1.5 hours and is a good opportunity to see amphibians, reptiles, and scorpions, among other creatures. This tour has no aditional cost.

You should bring: Hat, sun block, insect repellent, binoculars and camera. Short or skirt, sandals, swimsuit and towel(necessary).
